ONEder Academy’s Transition Curriculum was designed as a blended solution to give educators the flexibility to implement the program in a variety of settings. Each of our courses focus on one of the eight areas that employers find are most critical to success in the workplace according to the Zarrow Center at the University of Oklahoma.
Studies show that today’s workers lack the interpersonal skills they need to succeed in their careers. As educators, we do our best to prepare students with IEPs for post-high school success, but most transition content is outdated and doesn't focus on the skills they require to succeed in a technology-focused world.
Our Transition Curriculum is designed for students ages 14 and up, who have Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and who will be making the transition to life after high school. Course content was written at a fifth-grade level (Lexile level around 700), and is designed to be used as a foundation that educators can easily differentiate using the suggestions provided in the Teacher Guide.
ONEder offers educators the standards-aligned tools they need to engage students with ready-made interactive activities and content drawn from research done by organizations such as the National Technical Assistance Center on Transition.
