Cross-Curricular Program
Promotes Personal Financial Education
In this course, students will follow a financial road map that will help them to make healthy financial choices. Students will learn how to save and invest money, distinguish the difference between wants and needs, create and manage a budget, pay their bills, identify ways to pay for college, consider the pros and cons of buying a car and a home, and plan for retirement.
You can use Money Smart to add engaging and enriching activities to financial literacy and economics instruction. Extension activities support English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Economics, and Technology, while also helping your students build the foundation to become financially responsible adults.
